The STRING serves two functions: it maintains the orientation of the carabiner on the rope-end of a quickdraw and help protect the quickdraw webbing attachment loop from abrasion. The shape makes it easier to properly install the carabiner in the quickdraw sling. It’s compatible with FINESSE, EXPRESS, and AXESS slings.
