Tractel Splice-safe
The Splice-safe lifeline termination device is a quick, simple and reliable means to provide approved lifeline “end-splice” terminations. This lightweight bar provides the user with a method of performing a field splice on 7/16 and 1/2 in. (11 and 13 mm) Kernmantle ropes and on 5/8 and 3/4 in. (16 and 19 mm) three strand ropes without the use of knots, splicing or swaging. Made of aluminum with a total of six holes. The top hole constitutes the connection point to the anchorage. The rope is threaded in the other five holes. It has to be connected to an anchor point using an auto-locking carabiner. FEATURES Complies with 5,000 lb.
